The District of Lantzville is a small bedroom community located on the northern border of Nanaimo that is broken down by Lower and Upper Lantzville. Considered to be more ‘rural’ than city, the district is almost completely residential and lot sizes here tend to be larger and more spacious than lots in Nanaimo. The area offers some very scenic ocean property along Lantzville Road as well as some acreages; newer developments are currently popping up thereby increasing the area’s popularity and property values. Lower Lantzville is the area that surrounds the small village center which is home to a fantastic community centre and small active commercial center. Nanaimo’s North End with all its amenities is also only a few minutes away.
