Nanaimo’s North end is one of the newest neighbourhoods in the city with expansive ocean views that take in islands like Texada, and coastal mountains beyond. There is a great mix of older, established homes and newer homes with some of the ‘older’ houses in this area being only 20 or 30 years old, which is quite young when compared to other Nanaimo properties in the South end or Old City. The North end is full of newer developments due to the need for more homes in the area and is central to several amenities such as schools, shopping centers, restaurants and grocery stores that continue to draw home buyers out this way.
